  • App Permissions: Data Storage, Camera, Microphone, Contact Access (with explicit consent)

App Permissions Explained

Understanding what each permission does

Contact Details Access

The app accesses your contact details for app functionality and smooth activities. Users can send emails, SMS, make calls from the app, and receive product and transactional alerts via SMS and Email.

Location Tracking

GPS and network-based location data verifies field visits, tracks employee movements during work hours, generates accurate route maps, and ensures visit authenticity for territory management.

Camera & Gallery Access

Required to capture photos during customer visits, product displays, prescription uploads, and expense bill documentation. Ensures visual verification and proper record-keeping.

Storage Permissions

Write External Storage permission needed to upload documents for company approval. Accelerates approval process for expense claims, orders, and documentation.

File Management

Enables uploading of expense bills, order sheets, travel bills for company approval. Must be manually granted for MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE feature usage.

Microphone Access

Used for voice notes, call recordings (where permitted), and audio documentation during field visits to enhance reporting accuracy and detail.

Important: OptCRM does not access your personal details and mobile hardware or applications until you give permission to the OptCRM app.

Data recorded by the Android App and Website allows your parent company to recognize you and your preferred settings. This saves you from re-entering information on return visits. Such data is recorded locally on your app and computer through cookies and app acceptance.
